The process chain is irreversible, meaning any damage caused by mistakes during fabrication necessitates reworking the entire part.SolutionCNIM Asia collaborated with a partnered research institute to develop a customized Electron Beam Welding (EBW) process tailored to the specific needs of this project. This innovative approach ensured the highest level of precision and control over the welding process.Process Technical Collaboration: Working closely with the customer to understand the precise requirements and constraints of the core component. Customized EBW Process: Partnering with a research institute to develop a specialized EBW process that could meet the extremely high precision and tolerance demands. Prototyping and Testing: Fabricating the first set for the localized prototype machine and subjecting it to rigorous functional tests to ensure compliance with all specifications. Outcome The first set of the localized prototype machine successfully passed the functional test, demonstrating the effectiveness of the customized EBW process and the precision of the fabrication. This success marked a significant milestone in localizing the manufacturing process, enabling the customer to expand their operations in China with confidence.
